Training Manual & Workbook

Build your studio’s yoga teacher training: Manual & Workbook for training new yoga teachers.

To thrive, studios need to be able to consistently bring in the revenue needed to cover expenses and then some!

Challenge:
  • Sometimes adding more classes isn’t always enough and depending on your space, may not be possible.
  • And, your students (and other yoga students in your area) may be ready for more in their yoga journey. They may be interested in teaching yoga or in deepening their practice.

Challenge:
  • Another challenge for yoga studios is finding and keeping good teachers. When I owned my studio, teachers came and went for a variety of reasons, from family moves to changes in personal interest, however, I still needed to keep a consistent class schedule. My solution was to offer my students and those in my community, the opportunity to train locally with a program that was both reasonably priced and as flexible as possible. With those things in mind, I created this teacher training program.

Challenge:
  • Gotta lot of extra time on your hands?? Not. 🙂 Time is certainly a concern for most studio owners I know! There is FAR more to running a studio than most of us imagined when we got into it. So the idea of creating a full teacher training program seems overwhelming!

Helping you thrive is why Yoga Tree Consulting exists!

“The Yoga Tree Consulting program helped streamline my school development process. I am so thankful for the guidance and support every step of the way.”

You may not have considered ‘buying’ teacher training materials before. After all, you want a program that’s complete, and that represents your studio and your yoga experience and perspective.

That’s understandable and it’s why these materials give you room to put your own unique stamp on them. You are free to name your program anything you like and add the content (50 Hours to register with YA) that addresses your unique teaching experience!

“With Julie’s program and support, I’ve been able to jump-start my teacher training program and get my school registered with Yoga Alliance in a very short amount of time. My current students have already expressed interest in my teacher training program and I plan to launch it in the next few months! Thank You!”

Your Bonuses…

  • 5 Workshops (for all Options): Over the course of training, I like to add in some workshops that trainees and the public can attend. The workshop topics correspond to the topics we’re covering in training and give trainees an insight into creating workshops. They also give other students an opportunity to meet and talk with students who are currently taking training. A nice mix!

  • The Workshops included in your Bonuses are:
    • Intro to Yoga
    • Smart Sequencing for a Home Practice
    • Meditation in Motion
    • Chakras and the Sun Salutations
    • Yoga for Athletes
  • Workshop materials include outlines and practices for 1.5 to 2-hour workshops.

  •  Marketing Your Teacher Training (included in Option 2): Marketing your program will depend on your studio, your market and your students, everyone’s needs are different. In this information, I share how I’ve marketed my training locally – keeping in mind that I’m a ‘visiting teacher’ at the studios I teach at, meaning I don’t own the studio or teach regular classes there – so I rely heavily on my marketing! You may not need all this information, but it all helps! And, it can be applied to marketing workshops or other events at your studio (bonus!).

  • Help registering your program with Yoga Alliance (included in Option 2): An advantage of registering with YA is that the RYT 200 designation is widely-recognized by both potential trainees and the people who hire yoga teachers. These materials, through my school, are registered with YA and meet those criteria. YA requires a school’s syllabus to be entered into their online system and they generally ask some follow-up questions. With this Bonus, I help you register your school on the YA site, help with answering YA questions and help you categorize any further materials you will be using.

  • Keep in mind, you will create your own name for your school! You can name it anything you like, branding it uniquely for your studio! All registration you do will be directly through YA, their fees will apply.

Get ready to rock 2018!
